La Fleur has released her new single, ‘Stay With Me’. It’s a warm, upbeat cut layered with subtle complexity. It’s melodically rich, with various layers of polyphony combining into an intricate tapestry of sound. At its core is a minimalist house beat, but we can also hear a whispering vocal riff, some playful synth melodies and a wobbling bass line. After a long musical hiatus, La Fleur finally feels ready to share her music with the world: “It got me thinking. What music do I want people to associate with me? I had a debut album ready in 2020, but I’ve always drawn inspiration not only from music, but changing elements in my life.
